Our Services

Citrus Dental Care provides NHS and private dental treatment from our practice at 1 Meadow Place, Edinburgh EH9 1JZ. All clinical treatment is carried out by GDC-registered dental professionals.

Appointments

Patients are asked to arrive on time for their appointments. Late arrival may result in a shortened appointment or the need to rebook.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

We ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. This allows us to offer the slot to another patient who may need it.

The practice reserves the right to charge a fee for appointments cancelled without adequate notice, or where a patient does not attend without notifying us. This applies to both NHS and private patients.

Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may result in removal from our patient list.

Payment

Payment for private treatment is due on the day treatment is carried out. We accept card payment at the practice.

0% finance is available through Tabeo for eligible private treatments. Finance is subject to the terms and conditions of the finance provider and approval of your application.

NHS charges are collected at the practice in accordance with current NHS Scotland fee schedules.

Membership Plans

Membership plans are administered by DPAS Limited and are subject to the terms and conditions of the DPAS membership agreement, which will be provided to you when you join. Key terms include:

  • Plans are paid by monthly Direct Debit
  • A one-off £10 registration fee applies per person
  • One month’s written notice is required to cancel
  • The Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme is not an insurance product and is not regulated by the FCA

Treatment Plans and Consent

All treatment is carried out with your informed consent. Before any treatment begins, your dentist will explain what is proposed, the alternatives available, and the associated costs. Nothing is started without your agreement.

You have the right to refuse or withdraw consent for treatment at any time.

We take complaints seriously and aim to resolve any concerns promptly and fairly. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care or our service, please let us know in the first instance by contacting the practice directly at info@citrusdentalcare.co.uk or by calling 0131 285 3308.
