Citrus Dental Care is an NHS and private dental practice at 1 Meadow Place, Edinburgh EH9 1JZ, serving patients from Morningside and the surrounding Southside. Morningside is located approximately two miles south of Edinburgh city centre, running along Morningside Road from Holy Corner in the north to Jordan Lane in the south. Citrus Dental Care is accepting new NHS and private patients. NHS check-ups are free for all registered patients. Private examination and X-rays cost £70. The practice is open Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Serving Morningside and the Southside
Morningside runs south from Holy Corner, where four churches face each other at the junction of Bruntsfield Place and Colinton Road, all the way down Morningside Road past the Dominion Cinema, Ian Mellis the cheesemonger, and the legendary Canny Man’s pub, one of the most characterful bars in the city, unchanged since 1871. It’s an area with a genuine sense of identity, leafy, independent, and quietly proud of itself, home to long-established families, professionals, and enough well-known writers to justify the nickname Writers’ Block for the streets around it.
From Morningside Road, Citrus is a short bus journey north or a pleasant fifteen to twenty minute walk through Bruntsfield and across The Meadows. Many Morningside patients already make that journey regularly for work, school, or shopping on Bruntsfield Place. We’re at the far end of it, on Meadow Place.

Getting to Citrus From Morningside
We’re at 1 Meadow Place, Edinburgh EH9 1JZ. From Morningside Road, Lothian Buses services 5, 11, 15, 16, 23, and 36 all run north towards the city centre and stop within easy walking distance of Meadow Place. The journey takes around 5 to 10 minutes by bus.
If you prefer to walk, head north along Bruntsfield Place and across The Meadows to Melville Drive, where Meadow Place is on the left. Around 15 to 20 minutes from central Morningside on a decent day.
