NHS check-ups are free for all registered patients. Private examination and X-rays cost £70. The practice is open Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Marchmont is one of Edinburgh’s most loved and best preserved residential neighbourhoods, its wide streets lined with four and five-storey Victorian tenements in warm pink and blonde sandstone, all within a conservation area designated in 1987. It runs from the northern edge of The Meadows south through Marchmont Road and Spottiswoode Street, Warrender Park Road and Arden Street, all the way down towards the Grange. Ian Rankin gave his fictional Detective Inspector Rebus a flat on Arden Street. JK Rowling lived on Marchmont Road for a time. Muriel Spark grew up here. It’s that kind of place.
For a neighbourhood so full of character, it’s also remarkably easy to get around from. The Meadows are on your doorstep, and crossing them on foot brings you to Meadow Place in ten to fifteen minutes. We see plenty of Marchmont patients at Citrus, many of them walking over across the park, particularly the ones who like to make a morning of it.

Getting to Citrus From Marchmont
We’re at 1 Meadow Place, Edinburgh EH9 1JZ. From Marchmont Road or the surrounding streets, head north across The Meadows towards Melville Drive. Meadow Place is off Melville Drive on the north side of the park, a 10 to 15 minute walk from most of Marchmont.
By bus, Lothian services on Melville Drive and Clerk Street connect easily from the Marchmont area. Parking is available on Melville Drive and nearby streets.
