About Me

I first joined the Citrus team part time in 2022 as a Dental Nurse and Receptionist before continuing on as a Dental Therapist when I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in July 2024 after 4 years of studies. Within the practice I provide hygiene appointments including deep cleans and Airflow treatment. I am also qualified in restorative treatments such as fillings and paediatric treatments.

I enjoy helping to educate patients on how to improve their oral health and prevent problems arising with their gums and teeth, such as gum disease and tooth decay. Where patients already have gum disease, I work with them to find a routine and treatment plan tailored personally to them to help treat and prevent the progression of their gum disease.

I am passionate about providing a calm environment and gentle approach to help patients with dental anxiety feel more at ease during their hygiene appointments. I have many patients that have avoided hygiene appointments due to previous painful experiences or dental anxiety from bad experience when they were younger and strive to make every patients feel at ease in the dental chair so they want to come back. I make sure to discuss concerns with my patients to find the best way to tailor the experience to them and work on reducing their dental anxiety gradually with each appointment.

In my spare time I enjoys visiting the theatre, reading, playing golf at different golf courses and baking. I also enjoy travelling back to my home town when I can to visit friends and family.
